We’ve all been guilty of day dreaming about leading a lavish celebrity lifestyle at one stage or another; perhaps not so much for the fame but more focused on the fortune. It is truly difficult to comprehend what it must be like to lead a life of complete financial freedom and security where you are able to invest in practically anything that you could dream. Instead of dreaming too far out of reach about mansions, private jets and luxury yachts we’re going to focus on some beautiful celebrity bathrooms.

For some reason I was a little shocked when I first saw Charlie Sheen’s bathroom. I don’t know why but I feel as though it’s a little too normal considering the crazy antics he has been sharing with the world over the last couple of years. Somehow I imagined it to be a little more quirky, perhaps with a little more colour and some large portraits of the naked female form.

This bathroom seems rather boring in comparison to this huge celebrity personality. This is the sort of bathroom I’d expect to see if my grandmother had won the lottery. Don’t get me wrong, it is an absolutely stunning bathroom. The ‘his and hers’ sinks, the beautiful yet simplistic bathtub and the huge walk in, glass shower enclosure are wonderful features indeed, though for a man like Charlie Sheen I must say that I am a little bit disappointed.

I was half expecting to see some extravagant water feature centre piece, a statue of Sheen dressed like an angel peeing into a lady’s mouth perhaps?

Michael Bay wins the celebrity bathroom round with this stunning room.

As you can see from the image above, this is what you would expect from a celebrity bathroom! It is simply stunning. There is a beautiful sealed glass wet-room with an overhead shower, elegant stone bath and an additional rainfall shower around the other side of the divide. The colours are tasteful with some gorgeous plants scattered throughout adding to the already thriving, natural feel of the bathroom.

Granted there isn’t much privacy to be had in a giant glass bathroom, though when you’re making as much dollar as Michael Bay, you’re not going to be too fussed about what people have to say about how big your goods are. On top of that, I doubt there’d be much of an audience in his bathroom, though he may feel a little uncomfortable dropping off a number two if he has a young lady friend staying over for the night.

This is the perfect example of an extravagant yet tasteful bathroom that isn’t over the top in any way, shape or form. There’s nothing worse than someone with a lot of money who just goes way over the top with spending and has to have gold plated everything! It is unnecessary and to be quite frank: distasteful.
