Incredible Outdoor Bathroom Ideas

Check out some of these incredible outdoor bathrooms

Have a look through some of these awesome outdoor bathrooms below and feel even more miserable about living in a country where it is far too damn cold to justify having one! I like to put myself through this now and again to realise how much my bathroom sucks and how badly I wish that I lived in a tropical climate. It’s good character building; it really puts things in perspective for you.

Why an outdoor bathroom?

Outdoor Bathroom Basin

So why would anyone bother having an outdoor bathroom? I guess it is quite difficult to relate too when most days in England it is hoofing it down with rain with strong winds and a bitter chill in the air, so being naked under a shower outside in the elements is a rather crazy thing to do. However as you can imagine in a beautiful and hot country where the climate is pretty high all year round the idea of a shower outside is quite an appealing one.

Creative Outdoor Bathroom

Generally people have outdoor showers as a prerequisite to entering their swimming pools to wash off any sweat and dirt before entering their pool and again after exiting the pool to cleanse the chlorine. As you can see from the image above the outdoor shower looks tasteful and very beautiful with plenty of privacy to avoid strangers taking a sneaky peek!

There are few practical reasons to have a bathroom installed outside in your garden other than the fact that is looks cool! Of course if you are busy all day in the sun gardening away then it would be perfect to get your dirty clothes off and climb under a nice cold shower after a hard day’s working. There are various practicalities that make an outdoor bathroom worthwhile depending on your circumstance but for the most part, people have an outdoor bathroom simply because they can have an outdoor bathroom and let’s be honest: if you could, wouldn’t you?

You can save space in your bathroom by having an outdoor tub.

Contemporary Outside Bath/Jacuzzi

As you can see from this image there is a glass door that opens from the bathroom and leads out onto a terrace with a large stone bathtub. Something creative like this allows you to save room in your bathroom and perhaps allow more storage space and a bigger shower. If you consider how often you take a bath compared to showering it certainly makes sense. I rarely take a bath at all and so my tub is just taking up loads of space in my bathroom and as a result I have to take a shower in a tight cubicle that could be a great deal larger.

This way when the weather is gorgeous and you fancy a nice relaxing soak outside you can do so under the stars. The certainly is a method to the madness if you like, it is very difficult to comprehend taking a bath outside in the UK, however if I could do so on a beautiful summer evening with a clear sky above I would soak in the tub for hours and hours.

We hope this has sparked off some bathroom ideas for you and perhaps we might just have the right unit or pieces to finish off your bathroom and make it the perfect place for bliss. Check out our extensive variety of furniture which is all hand built to the highest standard.

Use storage compartments to house remote controls, magazines, and other small items. Regularly curating and clearing the tabletop can also help maintain a tidy look.

A round or oval tray can add contrast and help break up the lines, while a rectangular or square tray can maintain a consistent geometry.

Choose coffee tables with hidden storage or use decorative boxes and trays that complement the room’s decor.
