Extravagant Bathrooms

Many bathrooms have certain aspects of luxury, but why not go the whole way and create a lavish place to bathe and restore yourself? Monochrome colouring and touches of gold can really make a room look fabulous, just like within the image below.

We absolutely love the floor to ceiling mirror in this bathroom, along with the bowl style bath tub which we’d love to sink into after a hard days work, or on a relaxing slow Sunday. Working with the material of marble is also a great way to install a feeling of luxury within your home, whether you can afford to install small pieces and purchase a sink in marble or if you can manage to cover your walls and floors in it like the image above – they are all fabulous uses of marble!

Roll top baths are the ultimate in bathroom luxury. If you have the room available to you to install a free standing bath they can add such a beautiful element to the bathroom. We love this look above with the two sinks either side for his and hers, gorgeous.

Wow – if only more bathrooms could look like this! We aren’t so sure about the carpet throughout the room, with all of that water falling beautifully down from the ceiling. it look absolutely incredible but we aren’t sure of the practicalities. What an utterly gorgeous tub.

Brass Bathrooms

The use of brass in the bathroom is a brilliant way to update a tried looking room. By adding new fixtures and fittings to a room you can quite easily bring the room right up to date. this classic yet modern look of brass fittings really works to bring the bathroom into a clean fresh appearance. It is also a great idea to keep your bathroom minimal when installing brass fittings as it can really make them stand out much more than if you have many different colours. White works fantastically with brass, as you can see in the image below.

This stylish brass mirror works fantastically throughout the entire home. However, if you are installing a brass theme in your bathroom then you are able to keep it running through your vanity units too. we absolutely love the design of this piece including its soft corners and elongated effect. If you placed this mirror sideways then you could perhaps use the bottom shelf to store your toiletries? What do you think?

Oriental Inspiration

It’s not always easy to create a theme within your home however, if you are clear about what look you want then it is possible to do it well. This week we are exploring Oriental themed bathrooms, for several reasons.
