Tips for Small Bathrooms

Even though your bathroom may be the smallest room in the house, this doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to make the most of it. Let us inspire you to add to your small room. We have some wonderful ideas for utilising the capacity and volume of your space, so do not think that you are completely limited with a small bathroom.

Bright colours are a wonderful way to add interest to the room. Even though you may not have lots of room to decorate the space with ornamental pieces, cupboards and cabinets, you can add style and personality to the walls through interesting design. Do not be afraid to be bold with colours, as you will be able to use this across the home by adding to the design.

Adding a feature wall to your bathroom will allow you to give your own personal touch to the area. By creating a focus piece this will draw attention to the wall, rather than the size of the room. You could even use decorative tiles on the walls and floors to create the same effect, find our blog on the many great uses of patterned tiles here:
Installing a glass shower door, rather than a curtain, will give the appearance of more space. A shower curtain will block off that area of the room, whereas the glass will give the appearance of more space. So if you have a small bathroom, do not worry as you can cleverly arrange the space to give the illusion of a larger area.
